It was a busy and eventful year, but what better way than to end it on a high…. Most certainly so, as the NBM team discovered recently. The team were quite surprised, when informed about the nomination and entry in Corporate Vision’s ‘Small Business Awards 2021’.

Furthermore, the nomination also presented a ‘chocolate cherry on top’, in the form of a favourable outcome…. New Beginnings were awarded in the end with the category:
‘Best Web Design Agency 2021 – Gauteng’! – What a great achievement, thanks to all our fans 😉

Small Business Awards

Since its inception in 2016, The Small Business Awards have been part of Corporate Vision’s award programmes. The aim of the awards is to give recognition to organisations and their owners who are not only hard working, but also innovative. Especially if one consider all the obstacles small businesses had to endure since the start of the COVID pandemic.

It is estimated that SMEs make up 90% of the business population worldwide, according to a study conducted by the FSB. The economy is relying heavily on small business, accounting for 50% of employment – for this reason, it’s important to recognise their efforts as they help shape the corporate landscape.

Gabrielle Ellis, Corporate Vision’s awards coordinator had the following to say about the organisations that were recognised in this year’s programme – “Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and their work should be recognised to match their efforts. We offer our sincere congratulations to all the winners, and good luck for the future.”
